The back side of Ben Nevis. Not the tourist track.. the one that's actually a challenge. I forgot the name of the path but I'd say I was about a half mile from the Mountain-Rescue outpost.

This, is a magnificent capture! I like everything about it, from the sun-rays, the darkened clouds, the stream, the V formation of the two hills, and most importantly - the colours!

The darkened sky is a result of the crazy shutter speed I used to preserve the shape of the sun; but it usually works out well with the rest of the shot.

My eyes usually hate me after shooting at the sun though.. haha
